Whether you are getting married here in the Riviera Nayarit of Mexico or any wedding destination around the world, I will ensure that your hair and makeup looks will be perfectly suited to the climate, and your personal style.

First thing… I absolutely love what I do!

After graduating from beauty college in San Diego, I started my career in Lake Tahoe and gained 15 years of experience styling weddings in that incredibly popular wedding destination. Thankfully this profession has allowed me to work and live in beautiful places, like Tahoe & Sayulita Mexico… where I began coming seasonally and styling weddings in 2010. I opened my hair salon 5 years ago in Lo de Marcos where I now reside full time. I am blessed with an amazing 7 year old daughter ‘Maizie Soleil’ who is the light of my life. We love surfing, the mexican culture and all of the beautiful nature that living in this tropical paradise offers!

Pesos are typically easily ordered from your local bank at home. They will give the best exchange rate & normally take about a week to arrive to the bank.

TRIAL INFORMTION =

BOOKING A HAIR TRIAL IS RECOMMENDED!! This is to ensure that we are able to execute the exact look that you desire for the wedding day. It’s also nice to meet before the wedding day and for us to discuss details & specifics in person.

You can skip the trial if you know exactly what you want, and we can communicate through emails with reference photos and we can also scheduke a video chat via whars app to “meet” and discuss detals.

I recommend scheduling your trials to coincide with your welcome or rehearsal dinner to enjoy the hair and or makeup for another event. After we decide on the wedding day hairstyle, I can change your hairstyle so that it is unique for both occasions.

A make up trial is optional… we can be consult about your wedding day make up look verbally during the hair trial if you choose not to do both trials.

BRIDES TO DO LIST=

Please email me your hair and make up inspo/reference photos of hair and makeup looks that you like, along with a photo of yourself, your dress, and any other details that will help me learn your style and we can address any concerns you may have before we meet for your trial and or have a video chat.

MANDATORY INFO FOR THE WEDDING DAY =

CLEAN & DRY HAIR PLEASE!! OR ONLY SLIGHTLY DIRTY!! $500 EXTRA PESOS CHARGE TO BLOW DRY HAIR BEFORE STYLING. Please let me know in advance if anyone will be coming with wet hair (apart from a blow dry service) so that we can add the cost and extra time to our schedule.

REFERENCE PHOTOS are very important for everyone to have ready on the wedding day. OR a very clear idea of what they would like for their hair and makeup, to maintain efficiency and to ensure that everyone receives the final looks that they desire.

LIP COLOR & SKIN PREP= There is lots of celebrating leading up to the wedding, so please ask everyone to hydrate well the day prior to the wedding, COCO FRIOS and electrolytes are the best pre-game! Clean and lightly moisturized skin (or bb/spf cream) for the wedding day please. My team & I have long wear lipstains that work well, but it is beneficial for ladies to bring their own lip color/gloss/or lip balm to give their lips a little moisture and refresh the color later in the day. And it’s OK if they prefer to bring & use their own lipstick/gloss or any specific make up product that they are accustomed to using.

SCHEDULING =

90-120 MINUTES IS ALOTTED FOR BOTH BRIDAL SERVICES. 30 to 45 MINUTES FOR EACH SERVICE FOR OTHERS. Extra time is scheduled for adding extensions, pre-style blow dries, and for set up/touch ups/special requests

WEDDING DAY TIMELINE - Along with Clean/Dry hair & hydrated skin, it is very important to schedule the ladies in the order that will work best for their hair type and style desired. I will make a timeline with time slots according to the “ready by time” You can fill in the time slots with their names in the order that will be the most efficient for everyone.

WHOEVER who would like their hair styled in an ALL UP STYLE, blow outs and ladies with finer hair should be placed to go earliest in the styling order. Then HALF UP STYLES and medium textured hair should go in the middle & those with thicker/heavier hair, or who want their HAIR ALL DOWN in beach waves/curls should go at the end of the timeline. The bride will be placed to be styled towards the end of the timeline, but not last, so there is ample time to dress (without stress!) have a toast, a laugh, a cry, and a touch up if needed! xo

BE sure to fill in the service slots so that no one is scheduled to be in the hair or makeup chair at the same time. We can swap a service or 2 on the day of as we need, but it is important to have our basic styling timeline in order so everyone knows when to be there & to ensure everything runs smoothly.

FINAL SERVICE TOTALS need to be confirmed 90 DAYS prior to the wedding and stay close to the numbers initially given on the questionnaire/contract.

You will be held accountable for the # of services booked, if they are not cancelled within 60 days prior to the wedding date! This is to ensure that my second stylists that are reserved well in advance for your wedding day, are monetarily compensated, regardless of last minute cancellations.
