Whether you are getting married here in the Riviera Nayarit of Mexico or any wedding destination around the world, I will ensure that your hair and makeup looks will be perfectly suited to the climate, and your personal style.
First thing… I absolutely love what I do!
After graduating from beauty college in San Diego, I started my career in Lake Tahoe and gained 15 years of experience styling weddings in California’s most popular wedding destination. Thankfully this profession has allowed me to work and live in beautiful places like Tahoe & Sayulita Mexico… where I began styling weddings in 2010. I opened my hair salon 7 years ago in the pueblo of Lo de Marcos, 30 mins north of Sayulita, where I now reside full time with my amazing 8 year old daughter ‘Maizie’ and our 2 dogs Gordo & Guero. We love surfing, the mexican culture, the majestic nature & all of the wild & colorful experiences that living in this tropical paradise provides!

Along with Destination Wedding Hair & Makeup, I specialize in Hair Color, along with womens and mens precision (straight razor) haircuts, and I am a certified “Greatlengths” extension stylist, which is a great “addition”to bridal hair too, when it is needed!
Bumble and bumble University in NYC taught me the true fundamentals of hairstyling and their training molded my craft into what it is. Acquiring my styling technique and artist inspiration there gave me a real passion for editorial hairstyling. I bring that same inspo & passion to my wedding work! My team and I style each wedding party as if they are their own little fashion show, most of the time with a tropical & beachy vibe, but we are happy to execute whatever style you bring our way!

BOOKING A HAIR TRIAL IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!1
To ensure that we to execute the exact look that you desire for the wedding day, along with making you feel completely at ease, stress free & 100% confident with your look for thr big day
You may skip the trial, IF you know exactly what you want, and we can communicate that through emails with reference photos, or we can also schedule a video chat via whars app to discuss details
I recommend scheduling your trials to coincide with your welcome party or rehearsal dinner to enjoy the hair and or makeup for another event. After we decide on the wedding day hairstyle, I can change your hairstyle so that it is unique for both occasions
We can consult about your make up look during the hair trial, if you choose not to do both trials

~ ARE RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE RECEIVING SERVICES ~ OR A VERY CLEAR IDEA what they would like for their HAIR + MAKEUP to help us maintain efficiency and to ensure that everyone receives the final looks that they desire
SKIN PREP & LIP COLOR =
~ EVERYONE SHOULD BE WELL HYDRATED FOR THE WEDDING DAY ~ DRINK LOTS OF WATER, COCO FRIOS & Electrolytes the DAY PRIOR ~ EVERYONE SHOULD ARRIVE WITH CLEAN & MOISTURIZED SKIN ~ BRING A LIPSTICK, LIP GLOSS OR BALM TO REFRESH THE LIPS My team & I apply long wear lipstains, however it is beneficial for ladies to bring something to moisturize & refresh the color
SCHEDULING =
90-120 MINUTES IS ALOTTED FOR BOTH BRIDAL SERVICES 30-45 MINUTES FOR EACH SERVICE FOR OTHERS Extra time is scheduled for adding extensions, pre-style blow dries, and for set up/touch ups/special requests
WEDDING DAY TIMELINE =
ALONG WITH CLEAN/DRY HAIR & HYDRATED SKIN it is VERY IMPORTANT to schedule the ladies in the order that will work best for their hair type and style desired! I will make a timeline with time slots according to the “READY BY TIME”
THE WEDDING PARTY WILL CHOOSE THE TIME SLOTS that will be the most EFFICIENT for THEIR HAIR TYPE/HAIRSTYLE
~ ALL UP HAIRSTYLES/UP DOS SHOULD GO FIRST/EARLIER IN THE TIMELINE, ALONG with blow outs and ladies with finer hair ~ HALF UP STYLES and MEDIUM/THICKER-FINE HAIR should go in the middle of the order ~ALL DOWN HAIRSTYLES (BEACHWAVES/CURLS) OR VERY THICK/HEAVY/LONG HAIR should go at the end of the timeline
THE BRIDE ~ LA NOVIA will be placed to be towards the end of the timeline, but not last to be present and ready for the photog/first look/toast etc.
FILL IN THE HAIR AND MAKEUP TIME SLOTS TO ENSURE THAT NO ONE IS DOUBLE BOOKED in the hair or makeup chair at the same time! We can swap a service or 2 on the day of as we need, but it is important to have our basic styling timeline in order so everyone knows when to be there & to ensure everything runs smoothly!
FINAL SERVICE TOTALS NEED TO BE CONFIRMED 90 DAYS prior to the wedding and stay close to the numbers initially given on the questionnaire/contract =
You will be held accountable for the # of services booked, if they are not cancelled within 60 days prior to the wedding date! This is to ensure that my second stylists that are reserved well in advance for your wedding day, are monetarily compensated, regardless of last minute cancellations
